Important
Note:
Most shim manufacturers, no matter what their name
implies, use nominal thickness for all shims .050" and larger.
That means even though the shim is marked .050" or .075" etc. the
actual thickness WILL be thinner or possibly thicker
than the size marked! Some competitors shims will vary
as much as +/- .001" to +/- .004". If you don't believe us
– go Mic your shims .050" and larger! Again, our SS
shims are marked as measured which means you put the correct amount under the
motor the first time!
Our
SS Shim Kits have a Kit Keeper
in every Shim Kit! The Kit Keeper keeps
the shims upright and neatly in place eliminating damaged shims! Something
that you will appreciate more than you know!
All
of our SS Shim Kits have 13 different thicknesses
with the Efficiency Kit having 20 shims per thickness and the Mini Kit having
10 shims per thickness. All Shim Packs have 20 shims per packet.
